One of the (many) things I do for a living is produce podcasts. Last month, I produced a podcast for a Northwest health insurance company called Regence. The editors at Regence said it was okay for me to also post the podcast here, since the topic is probably of interest to you parents and parents-to-be.
The topic of the podcast is 'Going Green for Baby'. The majority of the podcast is focused on diapering options--because it takes 500 years for one disposable diaper to biodegrade, and disposables are the 3rd largest contributor to landfill waste in the U.S.
I explored other options with mamas who say it really works for them to use cloth, gDiapers, or go diaper-free. It was illuminating for me and I hope it is for you, too.
I had fun putting together this podcast and meeting these mamas who go the extra mile not only for the planet but also for their babies' bums (they all reported significantly less diaper rash).
Enjoy!
