Not crafty? Join the club. Luckily, there are people on this planet like my sister-in-law, Jody, who are crafty and kind enough to sell their wares on awesome internet marketplaces such as Etsy.
Jody makes these great memory scrapbooks that open up to reveal diamond- and triangle-shaped spaces for photos or notes or whatever your creative little heart desires. She made one for Elliot's first Christmas. They're just a really unique and thoughtful gift to give someone. You could fill your memory book with baby photos and give it to grandma as a "brag book". Or, give it to a friend who just had a wedding. Or commemorate any event--a vacation with friends, even!--by filling it with photos. I really like these because Jody does all the hard work, but you get to add your own touch by filling it in.
I remember when Jody first learned how to make these scrap books several years ago. Back then, she just learned the basics of how to fold and cut the paper. Now she has gotten super creative and makes scrapbooks with embellishments and ones for special occasions.
Jodycrafts Memory Scrapbooks: $20.
