She ate some frosting but didn't like the cake. She wasn't too jazzed about the whole cake-eating event. I think she was wondering why we stuck her in the chair and made her eat when there were so many people for her to toddle around and visit.

My mother-in-law and I made this caterpillar cake for Elliot. We used the Wilton sports ball pan, which bakes two half-circles. We had some trouble baking because the cake doesn't cook well in the middle. And we used the Wilton whipped frosting, which didn't taste good and didn't shape well once it got warm. Still, it was a big hit!

Yeah, Elliot! Happy Birthday, dear one! All the best in the new year.
That is some serious frosting going on there.
Happy 'late' birthday! Doesn't it go by so fast?!
