One of the gifts Elliot received for her birthday last month was a wall sticker that spelled out her name. My sister-in-law bought it at an Uppercase Living party (think: Pampered Chef).
The wall stickers (for lack of a better word) look quite sophisticated, but are super simple to apply. Still, I asked my mother-in-law to put it on the wall since I have zero skills in the crafting department.
Here's how it went:
We measured the wall to make sure the letters were centered, then peeled back the wax paper and applied the giant sticker to the wall.
Susan (my mother-in-law) rubbed a credit card on the letters to make sure they were stuck on the wall.
Then she peeled back the back of the sticker.
Viola! It looks like someone with mad painting skillz put Elliot's name above her closet.

The letters are just like static stickers you'd place in a car window, so they'll easily come down if we move or change Elliot's name.
Hello,
I think what you have done with Elliot's room is great! I love wall stickers. Have you seen these cool butterfly wall stickers on DecoSticks http://www.decosticks.com/flyaway.html? I have used them for my daughter - she loves them!
You can buy from my Uppercase site:
