Carter's Outlet from Mother Popper on Vimeo. Why do cute baby clothes have to be ruined by stupid sayings?

»»The Most Depressing Day of the Year

Elliot laughing brightens any day.

»»Toys make me sleepy!

Amidst the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping, Elliot takes a giant nap in the Bjorn at Toys-R-Us. [Video]

»»Why I'll Never Say Never Again.

This week, I thought I'd share with you all the things I've done that I swore I'd never do as a parent. As I said, I'm only a month into this thing and already I'm sticking my foot in my mouth.

»»My Birth Story

I have a ton of stuff to talk about--from breast feeding to sleep deprivation--but before I do any of that I think I need to talk about the birth.

»»39 Weeks: Guess the baby's weight!

I thought it was a good time for everybody to guess the baby's weight. I can't believe I'm putting this video up on my website because I look extremely puffy and my bare belly is hanging out. But hey. That's pregnancy.

»»The Best and Worst Maternity Clothes

I am SO READY to be done with maternity clothes! Now that I'm at the end of my pregnancy, I am down to one pair of pants and three shirts. Here are the Best and Worst maternity clothes I've found.

»»I think I've become THAT pregnant woman

This week I am 37 weeks pregnant and I had my first labor scare-- or freak out-- on Wednesday.

»»Is it possible (or necessary) to avoid everything that's "Made in China"?

This week I'm very concerned about toys... and specifically, toys made in China. You all may have seen it, but there was a HUGE toy recall from Mattel this week because the paint on the toys had high levels of lead. The toys were manufactured in China, of course, which seems to be getting a hell of a lot of bad publicity lately for poor quality exports.

»»Eight signs you're in the home stretch of pregnancy

For the most part, I've been relatively comfortable during this pregnancy. But I just got hit this week (35) with discomfort and a nasty case of grumpiness. I just cannot snap out of it. My stomach feels really tight and I can't imagine how on earth the baby inside me is supposed to gain 2 more pounds before I give birth. It just seems impossible. So, to amuse myself, I made this list. It's the eight signs you're in the home stretch of pregnancy.

»»I can't think of a good title for this... I'm brain dead right now.

This week, I am 33 weeks pregnant and I am having a hell of a time concentrating on anything. I still have 7 weeks until my official due date and because this is my first child and the pregnancy has gone well so far (knock on wood), I don't expect to be in labor until on or after my due date.

»»Cat-cow, lion's breath and child's pose: It's all yoga-rific!

So, this week I'm talking about yoga. I've never practiced yoga until my pregnancy and I have to say that I really like it. I think pregnancy is a good time to start the practice because prenatal classes are very gentle and you don't have to worry about whether you look graceful.

»»I actually *want* the baby to come out of there?!?

I've spent the better part of this week picturing a baby coming out of some woman's bajango.

I feel like I’ve been pretty knowledgeable about this whole pregnancy thing, but it only took one two-hour class for me to feel pretty uninformed. And stupid.

I am 28 weeks pregnant and, this week, I have started to feel like a crazy person.

»»Roughing It - I really want to go camping!

I really want to go camping. And not in a tent. Or with a backpack. I want to buy a camper-trailer that attaches to the hitch of my Toyota Highlander. This is very unusual because I don't particularly like camping.
